The Derry Quest 2023
Clubman Mick O’Leary will once again embark on an epic cycle from Blackrock to Derry in under 20 hours this June Bank Holiday Weekend.
The cycle will raise funds to support our underage team who are heading to Derry to play Na Magha, a longstanding tradition within the club. This year marks the second year that we will be honouring Na Magha club great Seán Mellon who sadly passed in 2021 as we take part in the tournament in Derry City.
We are asking club members to sponsor the cycle and help fund the weekend for our underage teams. Its €10 per kilometre and you can sponsor as many kilometres as you like on the epic 450km journey from Church Road to Derry City.
Thanks for your generosity in advance as we try to make a memorable weekend away for our young Rockies hurlers.
