Gift Aid is a tax relief allowing UK charities to reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation made by a UK taxpayer.

Your charity collection pot will be eligible for Gift Aid, if:

donations made to your pot are NOT in exchange for goods or services (eg: bake sale, raffle, event tickets)
your chosen charity is NOT contributing to your fundraising (eg: paying for your travel, accommodation or entry fee)
